This Canadian spot named one of the most beautiful coastal towns in the world

When it comes to recognition, Canada is always praised for its jaw-dropping landscapes, beautiful nature escapes, and abundance in diversity. This time around, a coastal town in eastern Canada has been recognized for its charm in a new list of beautiful coastal towns in the world.

In a new list by Travel + Leisure, they looked at 16 different coastal towns scattered across the globe – Spain, Tunisia, Greece, and South Africa. These gorgeous countries don’t come as a surprise to us but when we saw a Canadian town made the list, we got excited.

If you’re looking for a getaway but rather explore Canada in all its glory, then head east to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia – Canada’s beautiful coastal town.

Regardless of the season, this town is definitely worth a visit and you’re sure to capture breathtaking sceneries as you explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. This historic town is known for its distinct waterfront which is decorated with bright and colourful buildings.

“The fishing and shipbuilding town’s buildings were traditionally painted black and white — those being the cheapest paint colors,” explains Travel + Leisure. “In recent years, people began choosing other colors to make their homes and businesses stand out, giving historic Lunenburg a cheerier look.”

But besides its obviously stunning good looks, there are also a lot of restaurants, breweries, local and unique shops to check out – it’s definitely an underrated town.
