High ponies up, hair slicked back, Calgary! The folks behind the adorable Belmont Diner have finally opened a second location and this one will have you feeling like you’re the main character in a 50’s musical.

Serving familiar bites like bacon, eggs, and burgers, as well as the pancake art that they’ve become incredibly well known for, The Belmont’s newest spot is decked out with colourful booths, nostalgic memorabilia, a silver counter, and checkered flooring reminiscent of the old school shake shacks our grandparents may have hung out in.

Located in Aspen Landing, this particular spot is definitely not as conveniently located as their other restaurant in Marda Loop, but it is worth the drive if you’re among those who like a side of theatrics with your meal.

Even if it’s just for a milkshake and an at-table photoshoot, Calgary’s newest Belmont Diner is worth checking out at least once!

Luckily, it’s not going anywhere any time soon – so take your time, but definitely keep this one in your back pocket.

We’ve heard that there’s just something extra special about grabbing a coffee next to the hood of a Mustang.
