Calgary’s favourite Beltline distillery just launched 3 unreal craft canned cocktails

Gin has gotten a serious glow-up in recent years, thanks to the rising popularity of cocktails and mixology, and TBH, we are totally living for it. ‘Cause let’s admit it, gin is arguably the best clear spirit to own in your bar collection. Yes folks, gin is IN!

And, at Calgary’s fave Beltline brewery & distillery, Last Best, that’s especially the case. With the rising popularity of canned cocktails over the last year, we’re pumped to see some local selection hit the shelves in Calgary.

Last Best Brewing & Distilling has finally gotten into the canned cocktail game after releasing 3 unique craft gins in 2020: The Savage Love, the Fortunella, and the Afterglow. And this year, all three gins have received accolades from the Alberta Beverage Awards to the prestigious World Gin Awards. Pretty impressive if we do say so ourselves!

So Calgary, meet Savage Love Tom Collins, Fortunella Citrus Iced Tea and Afterglow Gin & Soda – Last Best’s new canned cocktails. Whatever flavour you’re feeling, Last Best has ya covered. Offered in 4-packs, this collection is now available at select liquor retailers across Alberta, and at Last Best – obviously.

But before you stock up, you’ll want to satisfy your appetite. Lucky for you, Last Best has also concocted a brand new food menu for your tasting pleasure! Their new summer menu has everything from flavourful & juicy burgers, to smoked briskets, and plenty of vegan & GF options.

Add a fully enclosed patio with a retractable roof for those chilly nights,and plenty of indoor seating by the bar, we guarantee we’ll be spending a few days & nights at Last Best. We’ll see ya there!

You know what else is happening all day long on Sundays? Happy Hour! You knew we couldn’t resist mentioning that didn’t ya? You can get a beer or a high ball for just 5 bucks, now that’s a choice we approve of. Plus, their extended happy hour menu – including some delicious appies and bar snacks – is also served Monday to Saturday, 11:30am – 6pm, and we just can’t get enough.
