Hold onto your hats, folks! The folks behind Ceili’s Calgary (which has locations on 17th Ave and 4th Ave downtown) have finally opened their huge new venue, The Rooftop, just in time for Stampede to kick off.
The project, which has been over a year in the making, is quite literally the size of a typical Stampede tent, but will operate year-round. Located at 414 3 ST SW on top of the TD Bank, The Rooftop is perfectly set up to be a go-to for live music, rooftop vibes, and a heck of a lot of long nights. Honestly, we’re already thinking of the ‘Stampede at Christmas’ parties we could book here.

The stunning interior features multiple bar setups, picnic tables for lounging, a stage front and centre, and some very aesthetically pleasing neon signs and plant arrangements.
When we previously wrote about The Rooftop coming to Calgary, the menu was a mystery. Now, however, The Rooftop has released a pretty expansive list of food and drinks that will satisfy just about any palate.

You’ll find shareable plates like Beef Carpaccio and Tuna Crudo, bowls like Seafood Tagliatelle and Truffle Gnocchi, and impressive main course options such as Miso Sablefish and Tenderloin. There are also a ton of salads, handhelds, and even a pizza menu!
The drink list is just as expansive, but the biggest eye-catcher is the list of ‘Rooftop Cocktails’ that sound about as crushable as they are delicious. The margarita and sangria options will have you feeling like it’s summer no matter the time of year, but if you’re looking for a hot new spot to check out ASAP, this should probably be it.
