Alberta has made major progress in the last few weeks. However, until COVID is completely eradicated, there will still be people who take extra precautions to ensure the safety of the public. When it comes to bigger, busier events this is totally understandable, which is why we aren’t totally surprised that the organizers behind Beyond Van Gogh have chosen to postpone its grand opening.

Originally scheduled to launch on June 3rd, the highly anticipated exhibit has been moved until the end of July, with the announcement citing the health and wellbeing of the guests as their top priority.

If you don’t already know what exactly this event is or what it entails, here’s a little breakdown!

Created by French-Canadian Director Mathieu St-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s world-renowned Normal Studio, Beyond Van Gogh is an immersive art exhibit and homage to the mad genius.

Guided by his own dreams, thoughts and words, guests will experience masterpieces like “The Starry Night” and “Sunflowers,” as if for the very first time.

For those who already had tickets to the event, please be advised that your ticket will have been automatically rescheduled for a later date.
