Spring has sprung and there’s sun in the forecast, which can only mean one thing. It’s golf season again, so dust off those clubs, gather up some balls, and fasten that visor. From one end of the city to the other, Calgary golf courses have begun to open back up, have started booking tee times and serving ice-cold beers, once again restoring YYC’s work/life balance.

Really, now it’s just a matter of where to go! Unfortunately, not all of the cities greens have been primed for the season, but with the weekend ahead, we figured we’d let you guys know which ones are.

McCall Lake Golf Course (18 hole and par 3)

There you have it, Calgary, just a few golf courses that are open for the season; but before you go, it is important to note one quick thing! Although you’re free to hit a ball or two, COVID protocols like pre-booked play, prohibiting club rentals, smaller gatherings, and limiting the use like power carts and ball washing stands will be in place so please keep this in mind and adhere to them, after all, they’ve been put in place for a reason.

Other than this, it’ll be smooth sailing for you, friends. Happy golfing!
