Looking to explore your city with the whole family? Starting this weekend you can do so for less thanks to Calgary Transit!

In hopes of getting groups who wouldn’t typically ride the bus or train out and about, the city has announced a new weekend group pass which will save customers a fair chunk of change if they’re travelling all day long.

Good for five people including up to two adults, this pass is valid for unlimited travel on the weekends and will only cost $15.

“We know that for a lot of families or groups travelling together, the price to get around can really add up. This discounted fare will make it easier for them to choose transit to get where they’re going,” says Councillor Kourtney Penner.

“There’s always so much happening in Calgary on weekends and this pass is a great opportunity for groups to save on regular transit costs, or on the cost and hassle of driving, parking and navigating through traffic.”

As we mentioned, these passes will be available starting on April 15th, 2023 through the My Fare transit planning app as well as ticket vending machines at all stations.
