Local markets to check out in Calgary this spring season

There’s something about springtime that just makes you want to get out of the house. The birds are singing, the sun warms your face, and markets abound with local shopping! If you’re looking for some dates to put on your calendar, here’s a round-up of all the spring markets coming to Calgary.

Spring Markets in Calgary

The Witch’s Garden Market

Kick off the Spring Equinox with a witchy local market in Calgary! Expect everything from unique vendors, tarot readings, workshops, and on-site tattoo artists.

When: Friday, March 21, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. & Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Pineridge Community Association, 6024 Rundlehorn Drive NE, Calgary

The Barn Artisan Market

Hosted within the historic Shawnessy Barn, you’ll find two floors featuring 34 local vendors with hand-made, hand-crafted, created, and made-in-Alberta products. This market is part of a regular, monthly series so if you can’t make it there’s always the next one!

When: Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: 224 Shawmeadows Road SW, Calgary

The Spring Market

Check out the third annual Spring Market where you will find up to 90 vendors offering everything from food, fashion, crafts, health, wellness, and food.

When: Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Where: Deerfoot Inn and Casino, Calgary

Dalhousie Spring Farmers’ Market

Shop over 28 vendors selling a wide array of items from food, spices, coffee, crochet and so more. The Dalhousie Farmers’ Market is an Alberta Approved Farmers Market that adheres to the rule that 80% of vendors must have products that are Alberta-made, baked, or grown.

When: Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: Dalhousie Community Association 5432 Dalhart Rd NW, Calgary

Gluten-Free Market

Enjoy a fantastic array of gluten-free products and treats, all in one place. The market is designed to cater to both celiac sufferers and those with gluten intolerance, with every table labelled as Celiac, non-celiac, or both depending on the business model.

When: Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: Marda Loop Communities Association, 3130 16 Street Southwest Calgary
