The sun is out and spring is here, but what does Mother Nature have in store for Calgary this week? According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, we could be in for a mixed bag of sun, snow and even rain between now and Sunday.

Kicking things off on a high note, the Calgary weather forecast calls for some clouds high of 1°C on Tuesday, March 21st, then on Wednesday, 5°C and a clear sky!

Thursday and Friday will also follow suit with a daytime high of 6°C and 7°C respectfully, though, by the evening of the 24th, we could be in for some flurries or even rain showers – which is actually what we were told to expect earlier this month.

According to the Weather Network, Southwestern Alberta may experience above-normal precipitation this spring along with below-normal temperatures.

“March, and even April, could look and feel wintrier than what we saw during the heart of winter,” they wrote in their official spring forecast.

Of course, the Calgary forecast is almost always subject to change, so here’s to staying positive and sunnier days ahead!

Alberta is a province of winter warriors, so no matter what gets thrown at us, we think we can handle it.

Have fun and enjoy it while you can, Calgary. Hopefully, the worst is behind us.
