Summer is just around the corner and with thousands of fans in anticipation, the Calgary Folk Music Festival has finally announced its full lineup for 2022!

Held in Princes Island Park every year since the 1980s, this beloved YYC event will return once more for four days of musicians, surprises, and inclusion.

“Your magical musical adventure awaits!” they wrote on their Instagram before announcing their incredible lineup. “After three years of waiting, we can’t wait to share with you what we have in store for 2022! Our annual Festival is a family-friendly cultural and musical extravaganza featuring some 70 artists from Alberta, Canada, and the world.”

This year’s headliners include Allison Russell, The Barr Brothers, Black Pumas, Basia Bulat, Cadence Weapon, Courtney Barnett and DJ Shub Presents War Club Live; as well as Josh Ritter, K’NAAN, KEVIN MORBY, Matt Andersen, Spoon, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Tim Baker and All Hands, Watchhouse – formerly Mandolin Orange, The Wood Brothers and a ton more.

If you’re interested in checking it out, tickets go on sale tomorrow, Friday, April 29th at 10 AM (MT). Passes start at $75 for a Thursday single-day pass – so prepare for a mad dash!
