Like a birthday or anniversary, your feline friend should be celebrated – after all, they practically run your place! This month, check out the Calgary Cat Festival and Market and participate, talk or shop kitty-themed everything in support of local animal rescues.
Held at the Calgary Telus Convention Centre, this will be the second year the event has rolled into town and you won’t want to miss it!

Featuring vendors and educators, the Calgary Cat Festival and Market will be the ultimate kick-off to the fall season, especially if you’re creative!
In addition to filling your bags with toys, treats and brochures – enter yourself in a 60-minute cat mansion contest, in which contestants will be tasked with building the ultimate pet palace out of cardboard in front of a live audience.
Not great with scissors? You can also take a cat-themed knitting workshop and leave with a new skill!
The very best part? This event will also have an adoption alley, where you could meet your new best friend.
It all goes down on the 22nd and 23rd of September, so get your tickets and enjoy!
