Calling all bakers! If you think your creations are worthy of TV fame, now’s your chance to shoot your shot. Boat Rocker’s Proper Television is on the hunt for cake-bakers in Toronto and the GTA to compete on a new show called Cross Country Cake Off, set to air on a major network.

The production company is known for launching some of the biggest cooking shows out there, including The Great Canadian Baking Show, Masterchef Canada, and Iron Chef Canada.

Home-grown bakers with a passion for all things cake are invited to apply online and answer a series of questions about themselves, their creations, and the reason they love to bake.

Applicants must also attach a few photos of themselves and their cakes, as well as an optional video.

The original series will invite the select chosen bakers to show off their “incredibly Instagrammable creations” in front of a panel of judges at local venues across Canada.

According to the description, “the new series shines the spotlight on impressive, undiscovered talent who connect with their community through their cake artistry.”

The bakers will be challenged to showcase their range of talent through an impressive edible creation that “tells a story about who they are.”

The winner will be crowned Canada’s best cake-maker and receive a cash prize.

If you think you have what it takes, you can apply online here. Good luck!
