This cabin on stilts might be the coolest nature getaway in Canada

Ready to take your getaway plans to new heights? Eco-tourism resort Repère Boréal has unique A-frame cabins on stilts where you can spend a night overlooking the expansive forests of Charlevoix.

The UHU cabins, which means “owl” in Innu, “offers a tree-top experience that combines design, comfort and relaxation,” the description says.

The cabin is perched 10 metres high and comes with a comfortable Queen bed, a toilet, a shower with views of the stars, heated floors, an integrated sound system, and a fully equipped kitchen.

You can cook meals and make coffee in your private sky-high oasis and then enjoy your meal by the outdoor fireplace. Pets are welcome too for an additional fee of $25.

As a guest of the resort, you’ll also have access to the four-season spa, featuring hot baths, a barrel sauna, and an outdoor cold shower, built in a preserved natural environment.

There’s also a multi-purpose room and terrace on site, with a video projector, audio system, yoga mats, books, board games, and more.

You’ll eat very well during your stay at Repère Boréal, with all kinds of delicious meal kits and prepared dishes to enjoy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

And if the UHU cabin isn’t available for your preferred dates, there are several other exquisitely designed accommodations to choose from that are equally as beautiful.

If you want to experience something new on your next vacation, this is your sign to sleep in the sky!
