A FREE one-day music festival is bringing food & beer to Calgary’s Central Memorial Park next month

Summer is here and with it, the year’s most highly anticipated events. From markets to concerts, Calgary has come to life and looks more vibrant than ever thanks to those participating in the 2022 BUMP festival.

Showcasing larger-than-life art pieces all over the inner city, the Beltline Urban Murals Project returns next month, but it’s already making some waves.

By the time it kicks off on August 1st, it will have already commissioned the tallest mural in the entire world, plus – they’ve just announced another addition to a lineup of already incredible events and their self-guided walking tour.

Not only will they be reimagining Calgary’s public spaces by challenging artists to work on building-sized canvases, they’ll also fill the air with music!

As announced on their Instagram, the 2022 BUMP Festival presents their Park Party, a one-day extravaganza with food trucks, a beer garden and highly-respected headliners.

Featuring Canadian hip-hop legend Shad, Luna Li, The Ashley Hundred, B*les & The Sued, J Kim and Krill Williams, this concert series will practically take over Calgary’s Central Memorial Park on Saturday, August 6th from 2 pm – 9 pm and you won’t want to miss it.

Luckily, this event is totally FREE to attend, so you don’t have to!

Heck, maybe we’ll see you there. Happy ‘bumping!’
