You can go to a decadent brunch buffet on a scenic train ride near Toronto

What’s better than brunch? All-you-can-eat brunch on a historic train, of course. This May, the York-Durham Heritage Railway is hosting brunch buffet train rides, with lavish spreads of sweet and savoury favourites served with champagne and unbeatable views.

“Our award-winning caterer has prepared a lavish spread of family favourites, from the delicious hand-carved beef to the baked salmon that is going to melt in your mouth,” the description says.

Other dishes include pancakes, waffles, custom omelettes, and “many other amazing goodies you would find in mom’s kitchen.”

There are several brunch buffet train rides scheduled over the coming months, but if you aren’t able to make it, the York-Durham Heritage Railway hosts tons of other events onboard, including Mother’s Day Tea, Murder Mystery adventures, and dreamy scenic trips through valleys of autumn leaves.
