Another day, another exciting place to hang your hat after a long day of work! After much anticipation, Brix + Barrel, a brand new cocktail spot in downtown Calgary, has finally opened their doors (and their bottles) to the public.
Brought to life by the group behind The Rooftop and Ceilis, B+B is an innovative joint described as a “jewel box celebrating and supporting industries like oil/energy and farming.”
Here, they serve unique drinks like the King Colada and their Smoke Rose, as well as an assortment of wine, beer and bubbly.

In addition, guests can sink their teeth into a menu that lists everything from truffle parmesan fries, carpaccio, plates of pasta, burgers and so much more.
The best part, though? Their happy hour, of course!
Every day between 2 and 5 pm, or 9 pm until close, enjoy 6-dollar wine and lager, 12 cocktails on tap and food items that start at $6.
