Listen up, foodies. Western Canada’s popular all-you-can-eat-and-drink festival is slated to be bigger and better than ever, and organizers have just announced the festival’s 2024 dates.

With dozens of mouthwatering dishes from celebrated vendors across the province, Brewery & The Beast is the BBQ event of the year. So get ready to have your fill of delicious meat, craft beer, and live music.

“We’re so honoured and grateful that Brewery & the Beast has received so much love,” says Scott Gurney, director of the 17 Black Events team that produces the festival. “This year, we’re focused on making the event better than ever, while maintaining 2022 pricing for our BC events to really recognize the loyalty people have shown us.”

Note that all eats and drinks are included in the price of each ticket ($149.96 per person for Vancouver Island’s festival, $173.95 for Vancouver’s festival), and the festival will not be using drink tickets this year, according to Brewery & The Beast:

“We’ve worked hard with the folks at the BC LCRB and they’ve given us the thumbs up and signed approval to host the event as all-inclusive in 2024.”

Locations & dates

The massive food festival will arrive in Vancouver on Sunday, June 2nd, where over 50 chefs will be participating. On Sunday, September 22nd, the festival will come to Vancouver Island and feature over 45 chefs. Tickets go on sale online at 8 am on March 1st and April 15th respectively.

According to the organizers, fewer tickets will be sold this year to limit crowds and lineups, so make sure to snag tickets while you can!

Tickets officially go on sale on Friday, March 1st.

So there you have it, BBQ lovers! Stay tuned for more info as it comes, including the official lineup of vendors for both BC events.
