The Sir Winston Churchill Boardwalk is an incredible spot with a beautiful boreal forest with over 300 years of growth. Grab a snack or two, bring your friends and check it out.

The birthplace of Canada’s national parks! Located in Banff, the Cave and Basin Natural Historic Site is a must-visit. Here, you can wander the upper boardwalk above the bathing pavilion and peek inside the cave vent, or the lower boardwalk.

Located on Astotin Lake, the Living Waters Boardwalk is a 150-metre loop that only takes about 30 minutes to complete. Here you can enjoy beautiful views, fresh air, and wildlife. Headed to Elk Island National Park? There’s no better place.

The Michichi Creek Boardwalk is in the Canadian Badlands. A stunning spot with a beaver dam and a year-round wetland with a ton of birds, fish, and mammals, there are few places that are quite like this.

Surrounded by water and sky, John E. Poole Boardwalk is a quiet Alberta trail located in St. Albert that overlooks the aptly named Big Lake. This particular park is recognized around the world for playing a significant role in keeping certain animals happy and healthy.

With a 3.9 km walkway, Policeman’s Creek is a beautiful boardwalk that runs alongside ponds and forested areas populated by deer, elk, ducks and birds.

A destination that should not be missed! Cypress Provincial Park is a wheelchair-friendly walkway that is truly a sight to behold.

Though we’d recommend taking the Banff Gondola to the top, adventure-seekers will see mountain peaks, the town below and the bright blue sky above from the boardwalk on the top of Sulphur Mountain in Banff. It’s truly something else!
