Time to hit the water! Tobermory is a popular spring and summer destination in Ontario, boasting clear blue waters.

The water is so clear that you’re able to check out some pretty sweet sights including ship wrecks. Blue Heron Cruises offers a glass bottom boat cruise so you can get up close and personal, all while staying aboard the vessel.

The boat cruises begin in June but you can book your spot now – here’s what to know.

The boat tours are 90 minutes long and include a few stops along the way.

According to Blue Heron Cruises, each cruise begins with a visit to Big Tub Harbour, the deepest natural harbour in any of the Great Lakes.

Guests can see the Big Tub Lighthouse where the final resting place of the famous Sweepstakes schooner lays, a “perfectly visible and nearly intact shipwreck dating back to the 19th century!”

From there, the cruise takes you through the Devil Island Channel and the channel between Cove Island and the Otter Islands.

The tour also sails past the light station on Flowerpot Island and “the best photo-op”, the two world-famous Flowerpot rock formations.

The last leg of the tour goes back toward the Tobermory Harbour via Middle Island (or “Plucky” as it is locally known) while “taking in the sights of the Fathom Five National Marine Park.”

No need to wait to enjoy this glass bottom boat cruise as dates are available to book now.

While peak season isn’t until June, you can still book a spot here starting at $54.95 per adult 18-65, $53.19 per senior 65+, $46.11 per child 4-17 and free for children 3 and under.

This is an experience you certainly don’t want to miss out on so be sure to book a spot before it fills up and be sure to snap some photos, Ontario!
