Wild Rose Country has a ton of stunning destinations, but the Blackshale Suspension Bridge in Kananaskis, Alberta will take you to brand-new heights.

Hidden deep within Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, Blackshale overlooks a dense forest and is a must-visit if you’re seeking adventure in the warmer months.

Here, visitors can enjoy the fresh air and the beauty of the mountains without breaking too much of a sweat—unless they’re feeling ambitious and want to take a 6.8 km hike from the Black Prince Day Use.

Those who just want to enjoy the view, however, can take the hour-long car ride from Canmore to the trailhead and walk 0.5 miles to the attraction.

Either way, you’ll be in for a treat!
