Following a year-long hiatus from music, music superstar Billie Eilish has announced a new album, and she just released tour dates across North America! Following a meteoric rise to success in 2019, Eilish has become a top name in contemporary music and a social media force, with over 85 million followers on Instagram.

Eilish’s first studio album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was more or less an immediate hit, with multiple songs reaching multi-platinum status. Produced by her brother, Finneas O’Connell, the album was praised for seamlessly combining multiple genres, ranging from classic instruments like piano and guitar to, for lack of a better term, industrial effects reminiscent of ‘SoundCloud rappers’ or producers like Clams Casino.

In addition to raw vocal talent and amazing production, Eilish very quickly became a fashion icon due to her adoption of aggressive street style aesthetics, which included oversized hoodies, bootlegs of famous fashion brands, and a rapidly changing hairstyle.

We give all this preamble to highlight Eilish’s new look, as featured in a recent Vogue photoshoot. Donning haute-couture pieces and with platinum blonde hair, Eilish emerged in 2021 in complete ownership of her image as always, but with an undoubtedly new look.

Listening to her singles released ahead of Happier Than Ever, her sophomore album, it’s clear that fans are about to see yet another side of the incredibly talented singer. Relying more on classic instruments, but with a clear capacity to create the sounds that initially brought her fame, the new album is, by all indications, the evolution of one of the most interesting stars around.

Which is why we’re excited that she’s included three Canadian cities on her upcoming North American tour! Eilish is scheduled to play back-to-back shows in Montreal and Toronto in February, and will be visiting Vancouver at the end of March.
