We’re a few days into 2023 and we’re already looking forward to what’s coming to Toronto this year. Your favourite winter, spring, summer and fall events are sure to make a comeback and we can’t wait. We’re so excited that we’ve compiled a list of the BIGGEST events to look forward to in Toronto in 2023.

The CNE, TIFF, Veld and the like, are preparing for the year and a few beloved festivals are already selling tickets.

It looks like it’s going to be a huge year of fun-filled events. Here’s our list of the biggest events to come to Toronto this year – 20 of ’em.

Sugar Shack TO is coming back to Toronto’s waterfront in 2023 for a two-day maple-filled event.

When: March 11 and 12, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Cirque du Soleil

Get your tickets for KOOZA, a Cirque du Soleil performance, starting at $69.

Though there’s no official word yet as to whether or not it’s happening, last year was the event’s first year back since the pandemic. And it was a blast! It typically happens around the end of July.

TIFF

The Toronto International Film Festival will be back in September for its 48th edition. Enjoy 11 days of international and Canadian cinema, special events and celebrity moments.

The 19+ event has been around for YEARS so we only expect it to come back in 2023.

TD Jerk Festival

This beloved event brings Caribbean cuisine, music, art, culture, and community, together for a weekend of fun.

The biggest Latin event in Toronto is sure to be back this summer, bringing all the heat. Music, food and all the best vibes.

Toronto’s Festival of Beer

Toronto’s Festival of Beer is back for 2023! And tickets are already on sale. In the past, they’ve had big names perform during the beer weekend like Ja Rule, Ashanti, and Ludacris.

This beloved Toronto festival gathers people near and far for a weekend of fun in the sun. Celebrate Caribbean culture with great food, music, and of course, the parade.

Veld

What’s summer without Toronto’s largest electronic music festival? Veld is back and tickets are already on sale for the August event.

Toronto Ukrainian Festival

This three-day Ukrainian festival is coming to Toronto this year, bringing all the great food, music, and entertainment it’s known for.

Rolling Loud

After a successful first year in Toronto last summer, Rolling Loud is coming back to the city this summer.

North By Northeast

Support Canadian artists! “NXNE is Canada’s most important discovery music festival, presenting thousands of essential emerging artists, often just before they break, from across Canada,” according to the site.
