Ready for your big break? A new CBC Kids show called Bestest Day Ever With My Best Friend! is looking for an upbeat, animal-loving host to appear in every episode.
This family-friendly docu-style show is all about kids and their pets, and as the host, you’ll get to show off your charismatic nature and love of animals in front of the camera.
The show “celebrates the cherished relationships children have with their pets and gives them the opportunity to say thank you to that fuzzy, furry, scaly, slithering or feathered friend in an extra big way,” according to the description.

You’ll also be in charge of helping each kid come up with a unique way to say thank you to their pet, and give the viewers at home some ideas about how to show their animals how much they’re loved.
This opportunity is open to people of all backgrounds, and all must be 18 or older to be considered. The network is looking for someone with a friendly and welcoming face and an outgoing personality that suits the CBC Kids vibe.
As part of the application, you’ll need to answer a series of questions and upload a video of yourself — ideally with a pet or animal in it — explaining why you’d be a great fit as the show’s host.
If you’re picked, you’ll have to be available for over 20 shoot dates in January and February 2023. The gig pays $500 per day.
Sounds like a dream job, right? Well, if you can’t pass up the opportunity to shoot your shot, you can apply online right here.
Good luck!
