Whether you’re out shopping on Main or taking a stroll through Gastown, here are 8 of the best weekend happy hours to check out in Vancouver this spring.
A vibrant Cuban kitchen in Mount Pleasant, Tocador has plenty of fresh, seasonal dishes and daily happy hour specials, including two tacos for $8, and Guava Spritzes for $9. The interior is full of bright colours, Cuban & beach-inspired decor, and cozy string lights overhead. Plus, they have live music every Sunday at 6 pm, which is certainly a great way to kick off the week.

A staple Canadian dining experience, Joe Fortes likely needs no introduction. But what you might not know is that the elevated chain offers a pretty extensive happy hour menu every day – yes, even on weekends.

Happy hour at El Camino’s comes in many forms, including signature cocktails, Mexican-inspired bites, and sips of local wine – from 3 to 5 pm on Saturdays and from 3 pm to closing on Sundays. If delicious Mexican fare in a colourful, comfortable setting suits your cravings, then look no further.

For a true ‘buck-a-shuck’ deal, head to Hydra Estiatorio between 3 and 6 pm for their coveted daily happy hour specials, which include daily $1 oysters, $6 wines, $7 feature cocktails, and $12 bites ranging from kalamari and spanakopita to Greek fries.

This Yaletown pizza joint has a great daily happy hour from 3 pm to 6 pm, which thankfully extends to weekends as well. You can enjoy mixed drinks between $6 and $7.50, and a selection of discounted appetizers.

Tacos & cocktail deals, anyone? Head to The Pawnshop in Gastown on Sundays or Tuesdays to enjoy delicious tacos for $2.49 a pop, and spiked slushies for less than $5.
