Another spot with a recently added late-night happy hour menu, Smitty’s on Main is rapidly becoming one of our fave places to grab drinks with friends in the area. Whether you prefer your oysters raw ($2.50 each) or pan-fried ($3.25 each, minimum order of three), Smitty’s has you covered. And if you’re more fish-leaning, there are some delicious options there too, including Halibut Ceviche Tostada and Seafood Tostada.

Next up is one of our favourite spots to grab a drink in the city – Como Taperia. And while dinners here are fantastic, we have to hand it to them for making happy hour memorable. In addition to great deals on authentic drinks (think vermouth and cava), various tapas dishes are also offered free of charge for those seated at the bar.
Oh, and did we mention that all bottled wine is 40% off?? Pro tip: Plan to arrive right before 4 pm to take advantage of their brief (but worth it) happy hour (last call is at 4:45).

Di Beppe Caffe has been a great addition to the Gastown neighbourhood for some time now, in part because of the great happy hour deals. And this December, they’re celebrating their fifth anniversary with the return of their classic mushroom bruschetta, vegetarian pesto pizza, broccolini rigatoni, and for dessert – their decadent prosecco panna cotta.
