You can vote for your favourite public restroom in Canada & here’s how

Do you know a good public washroom when you see one? It’s clean, and stylish, the vibes are immaculate and surprisingly, it smells good. Well, Canadians can now vote for Canada’s best restroom for 2023. Here’s everything you need to know about this contest.

Cintas Canada is asking people across the country to help them in identifying the most “extraordinary public washrooms” for 2023 as part of Canada’s Best Restroom contest.

Those nominated are judged on five criteria: cleanliness, visual appeal, innovation, functionality, and unique design elements.

“For many patrons, washroom hygiene is a reflection of a business’ overall quality standards,” said Candice Raynsford, Marketing Manager, Cintas Canada.

“Washrooms with good reputations can bring big business. This contest gives businesses big and small the opportunity to earn national exposure and rewards finalists with the utmost recognition for investing in clean and memorable washrooms.”

Cintas Canada will then select five finalists and ask the public to vote for the grand prize winner between June 5 and July 7, 2023.

The winner of the contest will receive $2,500 in facility services from the company to help maintain their “award-winning washrooms.”

You have until May 12 to submit your nominations. Last year, Majesty and Friends, a boutique store in Edmonton, Alberta, came in first place thanks to its ice cream-themed washroom.

We can’t wait to see what washrooms end up being nominated!
