The 17th annual Spirited Awards has unveiled this year’s best restaurants and bars across the globe. Broken into several regions, a handful of Canadian spots were added to the list – the best of the best.
Tales of the Cocktail Foundation, a local, national, and international non-profit organization, is behind the annual awards ceremony since its foundation in 2007. Created in an effort to celebrate “excellence in the global cocktail community,” the Spirited Awards is known as one of the most recognized accolades for those in the restaurant and beverage industry.
“We are so grateful for the contributions of each of these Spirited Awards Regional Honorees,” said Tales of the Cocktail Foundation CEO Eileen Wayner. “We are the sum of our parts in this industry, and it’s so fulfilling to see the bars on this list sharing their passion and unique approaches to hospitality with the global drinks community.”
This year, over 900 restaurants and bars made the list of Regional Top 10 Honorees, which was broken into regions in the Asia Pacific (APAC), Canada, Europe, Latin America & Caribbean (LATAM&C), Middle East & Africa (MEA), U.S. Central, U.S. East, and U.S. West.
Categories include best international bar team, best international cocktail bar, best international hotel bar, best international restaurant bar, and best new international cocktail bar.
