Nothing warms the soul like a hearty bowl of pho. There are many great establishments serving up this delicious Vietnamese dish in our city, but if you’re looking for the absolute best pho in Toronto, you’ve come to the right place.

Here’s a list of the very best pho restaurants in our city, so you know exactly where to go to satisfy your craving.

Pho Metro

We’re suckers for this hidden gem. Well, it’s getting less hidden by the year, thanks to their consistently delicious offerings. The price is a little higher than other hole-in-the-wall spots, but people wouldn’t be lining up here for years if it wasn’t worth it. Stars of the menu? Anything with chicken or beef- the meat is always perfect.

Pho Rùa Vàng Golden Turtle Restaurant

Located on the Ossington Strip, this beloved spot has been serving up mouthwatering noodle soup since the ’80s. The rare beef noodle soup is always a great choice, as well as spicy satay shrimp or vegetable with tofu.

Cà Phê Rang

This banh mi joint on Spadina serves up a mean bowl of pho. Choose from sliced rare beef, brisket, or beef and brisket pho. Trust us, you won’t be disappointed.

UFO Restaurant

UFO Restaurant knows how to win us over — delicious ingredients, steaming hot broth, and slurp-worthy noodles. Stop in for a bowl of pho, vermicelli, banh mi, and crispy spring rolls.

Where: 241 Niagara Street

Hanoi 3 Seasons

We’d eat pho in every season if it’s from here. This go-to has three locations, each with delicious dishes. Touches of ginger and lemongrass liven the broth up, and the noodles are on-point.

Where: 1135 Queen Strett West, 2403 Queen Street West &58 Gerrard Street East

Pho Tien Thanh

This beloved spot is also located on the Ossington Strip, south of Golden Turtle. Their small serving is anything but small! We love the brisket pho, but the veggie options are also solid. It’s cash only, but we think the potential ATM trip will prove worthwhile.

Where: 57 Ossington Avenue

The Pho Restaurant

Points off for name creativity, points on for letting you customize your pho. Mix and match broth and toppings at this chic spot to create your ideal bowl, or pick from one of the many other options. You can even get an extra large bowl, depending on how hungry you are.

Then, lament that it’s in Markham, because you’ll want to go back for round two. Unless you live in Markham. Score!

Vit Beo

Described as an “intimate expression” of Vietnamese cuisine, this Bloorcourt joint doesn’t have a big menu, but they’re nailing the whole quality over quantity thing. You can pick between gluten-free beef or vegan pho, as well as gluten-free rice dishes, banh mi sandwiches, and shareable snacks.

Where: 858 Bloor Street West

When it comes to great quality and great service, Pho 88 checks both boxes. With locations all over the city, you already know that this spot is a popular one. It’s been serving up Vietnamese style beef noodle soup for over 25 years in Toronto.
