Toronto just keeps on winning! Our beloved city just so happened to be named one of the best digital cities in the world, according to a new ranking. Out of 30 countries examined, Toronto managed to score a pot on the list.
The new study by the Digital Cities Index, based its findings on four key categories: Connectivity, Services, Culture, and Sustainability. Out of all the countries analyzed, Toronto was ranked 11th on the list and the only Canadian city to be examined.

Under each category, Toronto came in third place for culture and sustainability, however, failed to make the top five in connectivity and services.
According to the report, Toronto was one of the cities to score at least 90 out of 100 in sustainability “for their use of digital technology to support urban sustainability—higher scores than achieved in any other pillar.”
This isn’t the first time Toronto has made the cut in a pretty notable list. Our beloved city also made TimeOut’s list as one of the best in the world for “thriving nightlife, amazing food and drink, art, culture, and museums.” And that’s not to mention its position in the tech scene – coming in hot in third place. Not too shabby!
