But with so many destinations to choose from, how do you settle on the perfect spot? Well, remote hiring platform, Remote, has revealed the best destinations in the world for remote work and this Canadian city managed to score a top spot.
The intrepid researchers at Remote.com embarked on a global adventure, scouring every corner of the globe to identify the ultimate havens for remote workers.
From the bustling streets of urban cities to low key and quiet destinations, they’ve evaluated thousands of locations based on key factors: openness, cost of living, safety, quality of life, internet infrastructure, attractiveness, inflation, and incentives for remote workers.
The list included 100 cities, including several European countries like Madrid, Spain that came in first place.
But as for Canada, our beloved destination happened to land a top spot too.

Toronto came in third and happens to be the only Canadian city on the list. Yes, may be surprising to some.
