We’ve got some delicious news, Vancouver. OpenTable’s list of top 100 brunch spots in Canada just dropped, and 33 of them are in B.C., with 9 of those in Metro Vancouver. So if you’re reading this on an empty stomach—we’re sorry—and just know you have plenty of options!
The booking platform shared its ranking based on reviews posted by verified users across the country between March 1st, 2021 and February 28th, 2022. Let’s dive right in!
Neverland is a classic Vancouver destination for high tea and whimsical pastries. Not only do they offer neverending pots of teas, but you can also sip on sparkling wine, rose, or mimosas for a bubbly high tea experience. Try some of their fan favourites, like the honey or tofu ricotta, citrus scones, or almond & orange tea cake.
They also offer vegan and gluten-free options that are indistinguishable in taste & texture from their regular items. The high tea experience is for everyone!

Head to Tableau for a neighbourhood bar bistro experience serving classic Parisian cuisine. Indulge in French wine or go for one of their seasonal in-house cocktails, you can’t go wrong with either!

Earls Kitchen + Bar is a globally inspired restaurant known for using fresh, local ingredients to produce some seriously tasty eats. If you’ve spent any time in Vancouver at all, you’re likely familiar with their amazing weekday happy hour.

Vancouver’s newest brunch spot has integrated four diverse spaces into a new Pacific Northwest dining experience. The venue features a dining room, cocktail bar and lab, champagne lounge, AND a garden/terrace. Perfect for Mother’s Day brunch, a friend date, or a date date.

LIFT sets the stage for a beautiful brunch with views of the harbour, Stanley Park, and the coastal mountains. In fact, the lounge has the city’s only oceanfront rooftop deck, so major points for that! Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in a ton of light during the spring and summer, and the prawn and salmon bennies are to die for.

Next on the list is the rotating restaurant you’ve probably reserved in your mind as the destination for only the most special of occasions. We hear you, panoramic views like that don’t come cheap!

Homer St Cafe and Bar is a stunning contemporary restaurant set in the historic Homer Building and the new Beasley building in Yaletown. Thanks to their rotisserie, they’re able to cook up some next-level proteins served in quarter, half, or whole portions, along with your choice of comfort sides.
The best part? the restaurant offers two dining concepts. One is an open concept kitchen called the “Chef’s Bar” where you can get up close and personal with the culinary team. The other is a more private dining room with reclaimed factory windows and antique tiling.

Sushi for breakfast?? Why the heck not? Especially if it’s at Miku, one of Vancouver’s most internationally visited restaurants.
Vancouverites and tourists alike have been raving about Miku since it was first established. The culinary team specializes in Aburi, AKA- flamed-seared sushi. Miku owner Seigo Nakamura himself innovated the concept by crafting specialty sauces using non-traditional Japanese ingredients to pair with each type of fish.
