Going to a Jays game? 7 of the best bars around Rogers Centre in Toronto

The Toronto Blue Jays home opener is almost here! The Jays will play their first home game on Monday, April 8th with plenty of other home games to follow this spring and summer.

Whether you’re commuting from outside the city or just want to fill your stomach before the game, you may be looking for somewhere to eat and drink before that first pitch. Here are seven bars near Rogers Centre to grab food and drinks before a Toronto Blue Jays game.

The Loose Moose

The Loose Moose is located on Front Street, just steps from one of Roger Centre’s entrances.

This pub has all the classics including burgers, poutine, nachos and tons of shareable apps.

You won’t have to rush if you choose to dine here before a game and you’ll show up satisfied.

Lulu Bar

Lulu Bar is one of the many options for food and drinks at The Well.

Just a ten minute walk to Rogers Centre, this is a great way to check out The Well if you haven’t yet.

You’re in for a good pre-game meal as Lulu Bar serves food with influences from Asia, Hawaii, California and even British Columbia.

The Pint

Also located just steps from Rogers Centre is The Pint!

The Pint has happy hour specials on food and drinks every day from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, perfect timing before an evening game.

Steam Whistle 

Steam Whistle’s brewery is right down the road from Rogers Centre and while of course, you can grab a pint of Steam Whistle beer, there is also a full food menu to choose from.

There are even vegetarian options including a plant-based chicken sandwich, cabbage rolls and giant pretzels – yum!

WRVST Union Station 

If you’re commuting in for a Jays game on the train then this is the perfect stop.

WRVST is a beer hall with a location inside Union Station serving up artisanal sausages and Alpine-inspired fare.

Hunters Landing 

Hunters Landing is a great option if you’re looking for somewhere to eat/drink before a Blue Jays game that is a little more upscale.

Hunters Landing has a huge menu with almost anything you can think of plus a happy hour from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday.

Amsterdam Brewhouse

Why not hit up a beautiful patio on the water before the ball game?
