Paul’s Omelettery

We’re starting this list with a Vancouver fave (and our personal pick of the bunch). Paul’s Omelettery is situated in the heart of South Granville, serving up delicious comfort eats like eggs benny, hashbrown bowls, and of course, their signature omelettes, for over 20 years. For classic brunch fare in a cozy spot at an affordable price point, look no further than Paul’s.

Note that reservations are not accepted on weekends.

Heirloom Vegetarian Restaurant

In addition to their delicious weekend brunch and happy hour specials, Heirloom offers diners a veggie-focused all-day breakfast menu that’s as good as the dishes look. Fluffy vegan buttermilk pancakes and truffle mushroom benny?? That requires no selling on our part.

OEB Breakfast Co. Yaletown

OEB puts the artistry in breakfast in brunch, serving up familiar classics as well as unique plates like “scram-blettes” and gnocchi breakfast carbonara to keep things interesting.

Nelson the Seagull

Revered for its fresh sourdough and picturesque avocado toast, Nelson the Seagull is pretty much a part of the fabric of Vancouver at this point, and for good reason. They also boast amazing all-day breakfast options, seven days a week, ranging from Wild Smoked Salmon on Rye to Poached Eggs & Tomato Smash

Nemesis Coffee GNW

Aside from its reputation as one of the best coffee roasters in the city, Nemesis GNW offers some of the most captivating brunch plates we’ve ever seen, in addition to its classic savoury danishes and sweet pastries.

Sophie’s Cosmic Cafe

Open since 1988, Sophie’s is a favourite amongst the university crowd and has certainly earned its spot amongst the best diners in Vancouver. Sitting on West 4th, this spot has a great interior and a nice patio for summer brunch. It’s so kitschy that it’s fun, and the food is as filling as it is tasty.

Another iconic spot, Medina Cafe has tons of French and globally-inspired brunch plates like the Saumon Fumé and  Israeli Couscous. Diners are always in for a delicious twist here, with plenty of hearty dishes and refreshing cocktails to go around.

This Fraser Street spot has plenty of egg dishes to offer, from their breakfast risotto to their classic Egg & Co Breakfast Sandwich, to the S’mores French Toast. Oh, and they have a variety of child-friendly options as well!

Hunnybee Bruncheonette

Originally renowned for its egg sandwiches and eggs benny, Yolk’s is now a staple in the Vancouver breakfast club. Some of their most popular items? Chicken and waffles, as well as an array of sweet waffles and pancakes. Plus, they have a new Davie Street location coming soon!

Lucky’s Eastside Diner

Lucy’s is pretty much a Main Street fixture at this point – and is widely recognized across Metro Van as one of the best places for boozy milkshakes and fried eats. Our suggestion? Stop in for some early breakfast after a night out – their all-day & night breakfast special consists of two eggs, toast, hash browns, and your choice of bacon, sausage, or ham for $16.50.

Bon’s Off Broadway

And last but not least, we come to one of the most affordable breakfast spots in Vancouver by far. Bon’s is a classic hole-in-the-wall experience offering a traditional breakfast of eggs, ham, and hashbrowns for just $3 – which is downright delicious for you and your wallet!
