Great news, coffee addicts and enthusiasts. After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Vancouver’s beloved Beanstock Coffee Fest is finally making its return. Presented by Breville Canada, the festival will showcase some of the best independent third-wave coffee out there. Mark your calendars & get ready to connect with local roasters from all over Western Canada!
The festival
“Vancouver is widely considered the origin of specialty coffee culture, which is why we chose the city to host this year’s Beanstock Coffee Festival,” said Adrian Griffin, the producer of the Beanstock Coffee Festival. “In recent years, third-wave coffee – a movement towards high-quality, artisanal and fair trade alternatives – has skyrocketed, and this event allows us to pay homage to specialty coffee roasters driving the movement.”

The coffee
This year’s event is shaking things up with coffee from Pallet Coffee Roasters, House of Funk, Nemesis Coffee, and much more. Plus, guests can take part in a home brewing demo where pro baristas will show folks how to brew exceptional coffee at home.
The Greenhouse Stage (sponsored by Danone’s Silk plant-based products), will feature in-depth convos on sustainable coffee production. In terms of non-coffee-related activities, there will be food trucks and an open marketplace to peruse, as well as an outdoor lounge area.
The first-ever happy hour
Honestly, nothing sounds better than cold brew coffee on a hot day. But Absolut and Kahlua are taking it a step further with the festival’s first-ever happy hour! Cold brew-infused cocktails and music?? Count us in.
