Beat the heat: Over 40 beaches, public pools & sprayparks to cool down in Seattle this summer

Things are looking hot in the PNW! With warm days ahead, we’re all going to be looking for ways to cool down. Now is the perfect time to take advantage of Seattle’s beaches and public pools! Here are 48 beaches, public pools, wading pools, and sprayparks to cool down in Seattle this summer.

Outdoor Pools

Lowery C. “Pop” Mounger Pool  at 2535 32nd Ave. W: Mounger Pool has two pools in one place. The “big pool” has a 50-foot corkscrew slide, and the warmer, shallower “little pool” is great for relaxing.
Colman Pool at 8603 Fauntleroy Way SW: The pool enjoys a spectacular view of Puget Sound from its prime location on the beach in West Seattle’s Lincoln Park. It features heated salt water, according to the city.
