Be the rock during a human curling event at Olympic Plaza this March

This winter, bonding with your coworkers will be as easy as hurling one of them across some ice because the Calgary Corporate Challenge is back with their annual human bonspiel event.

While tubing and curling are both fun activities separately, this unique competition will marry the two in support of KidsSport Calgary, and here’s how you can get involved.

Between now and March 7th, teams of 4 will be encouraged to sign up for this week-long contest.

While it will cost you around $250 to compete, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to one of their local Charity Partners, meaning you’ll get to have fun AND do some good!

As for the game itself? Well, as we mentioned it will work exactly like any other bonspiel, but – except for curling stones, you and your coworkers will be aboard tubes that will be slid across the ice of Olympic Plaza.

Competitions will be held every day during the lunch hour with the finals (which will see the return of the best teams from each day) falling on March 11th.

If you’re among the many that are interested, you can sign up at their website now, but don’t hesitate!

There is only a limited amount of space for each day and it’s expected to fill up quickly!

Enjoy, good luck, and may the momentum be with you!
