Vancouver-born rapper reveals first look at new beer with BC brewery

Vancouver-born rapper and singer bbno$ (Alexander Leon Gumuchian) is no stranger to shouting out his city, and his new beer collab with Delta’s Four Winds Brewing is just one of the ways the artist is rolling up his sleeves and personifying his latest single, “It Boy.”

The new collaboration comes days after his charity concert ‘Baby’s Bonanza’ at the Malkin Bowl, which donated all proceeds to the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.

The Vancouver-born artist came into the brewery on Thursday, May 30th to “inspect production,” according to Four Winds Brewing.

As for what flavour a bbno$ beer might be, fans have speculated everything from a Pale Ale to an “Edamame Lager” in the comments.

Update: On Friday, May 31st, Four Winds Brewing revealed that the new beer will mark their first non-alcoholic beer, called the “bbnoalc Sour Ale with Butterfly Pea Flower and Chamomile” – now available in the brewery’s Taproom and their online store!

“A vibrant purple with a tropical flare, it’s a clean, refreshing, tart, prickly carbonated banger,” says the brewery in a recent caption.

Whether he’s embodying Dude Chilling Park or giving some love to his favourite Vancouver restaurants, Gumuchian is always ready to show up for his city. And honestly, watching him support and engage with local businesses and charities is as entertaining as it is heartwarming.

So there you have it, beer enthusiasts! We’ll keep you posted on where this intriguing new brew goes, and when you can order a pint for yourself.

Cheers!
