Function Bar

Heading to midtown for a night out?

Function Bar is a midtown staple within walking distance from Yonge and Eglinton. This spot is underground giving it a cool sultry vibe. You can catch live musical performances here on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays with lineups updated regularly on their site. Make sure you come hungry and thirsty – Function is known for having yummy snacks like their Baked Brie Grazing Platter, and a long list of cocktails such as the Chocolate Peanut Manhattan.

The Wheatsheaf Tavern

Want to keep it simple with a couple beers and great music?

The Wheatsheaf Tavern is a classic pub-style spot for laid-back drinks and live music located right in the heart of downtown. Their music lineup can always be found online, with rotating performances weekly.

If you’re strolling down Queen West you’ll almost always hear live music coming from this joint!

DROM is a vibrant bar/restaurant serving up Eastern European plates, a global drink list and some amazing performances. Expect shows and events here every day of the week making it the perfect place to go no matter what!

The Jean Darlene Piano Room

This piano bar is behind a KFC…yeah you heard that right!

The Jean Darlene Piano Room is a speakeasy in the Ossington area and is a must-try if you’re looking for somewhere unique with live tunes.
