Of all the dining categories around, we have to admit that the wine bar might just be our favourite. So, we couldn’t help but share the news that Bar Susu is now officially open in Mount Pleasant! The new spot is taking over a former icon, and comes from an acclaimed Main Street restaurant.
That’s because Bar Susu is the newest venture from the folks at Published on Main, which has become a must-visit spot in the city for food lovers. That’s already a good sign, but what’s more, this new wine bar has launched inside of The Whip’s old space. It’s a fitting evolution, we have to admit.

Naturally, the menu here is focused on small plates to share with friends, and a curated selection of wines to try. Our advice? Head down there with a couple of pals, order a few things off the menu, and enjoy a few glasses while you’re at it! It’s a tried and true method, no matter the destination.
Bar Susu is now open for dinner service from Thursday to Monday. If you’re looking for a new place to try, then we suggest making a reservation for this weekend!
