Crystal clear waters are best enjoyed when you don’t have to worry about where you parked your vehicle or whether or not you should have another cocktail in the chateau lounge. For this reason, today’s Alberta pro tip is to consider taking the Parks Canada Shuttle Bus to and from Banff, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake this peak season!

While this service is offered year after year, many don’t even know (or just totally forget) that it exists with but a single downside.

No, you can’t blast your own car tunes for the entire bus to hear – but you might make a friend and you’ll be free to take photos, look for wildlife, or even take a nap on the way to your destination!

Of course, despite the fact that some locals have gone their entire residency without using the $8 Parks Canada shuttle to Banff – it does get pretty packed on holidays and weekends, so make your reservation sooner rather than later!

This year, their system will open to the public on May 4th, with busses running to Lake Louise as early as May 13th and to Moraine Lake on June 1st – so mark it down and get planning.

Shuttles run until 7:30 pm every night with their Village Connector busses departing every 15 minutes between both lakes.

You deserve to enjoy Banff to the fullest – even if you’ve been 1,000 times before.
