If you love fresh flowers, tasty noodles, and refreshing cocktails, you can enjoy them all in one place on this Toronto rooftop. Avling Kitchen and Brewery in Leslieville is hosting a unique event on its rooftop farm, no tickets required.

Pick your own wildflower bouquet while overlooking lush greenery and (hopefully) a gorgeous Toronto sunset. Then, sip on garden-inspired beverages and slurp on veggie cold noodles.

Drop in for a beer and some noods, stay for the floral atmosphere and spectacular views. You can also stay for dinner or drinks in the dining room, but reservations are strongly encouraged.

There will be farmers on site to tell you all about the agriculture around you.

The event is pay-what-you-can all proceeds going directly to The Indigenous Support Project. A donation of $10 per person is suggested.

Also on Queen St East is Toronto’s new Queen Garden Cafe, which is located inside a glasshouse on the garden grounds.

Not only can you do your garden shopping, planning, and designing here, but you can also stop in for a pick-me-up in the garden centre’s on-site cafe.

The structure is made from transparent glass and is situated right in the middle of the garden.

Queen Garden Cafe serves up locally-made award-winning coffee from De Mello, as well as baked goods, various bites, and other beverages like hibiscus lemonade and elderberry iced tea.

The east end is in bloom, and now’s your chance to enjoy it!
