Vancouver coffee brand opens a new cafe that turns into a bar at night

You don’t need to be a coffee aficionado to know that Artigiano is one of the best spots in town, and it looks like the European-inspired brand has officially opened a new location in Yaletown – though this time, it includes an evening Aperitivo Bar!

Known for its amazing coffee and ‘European bravado,’ Artigiano has been at the centre of Vancouver’s coffee culture for over 30 years now. As of Monday, June 17th, the new Artigiano Roundhouse location has opened its doors to guests in search of a light snack, evening cocktail, or a classic cuppa joe.

The new day-to-night cafe joins eight other Artigiano locations in Vancouver alone, marking the brand’s flagship location and new direction for all future cafes to come.

By day, Artigiano Roundhouse will serve up all the espresso beverages, sandwiches, and pastries guests already know and love, with latte art still at its forefront.

Evening drinks & snacks

By night, the cafe will transition into an Italian-inspired Aperitivo Bar, offering an array of signature cocktails like the Espresso Martini (made with Artigiano Private Reserve espresso), Aperol Spritz (made with Artigiano’s organic Earl Grey tea), and Negronis.

The evening drink menu also features a selection of Italian wines, with all bottles being 50% off between 5 and 6 pm daily. So if you’re looking for a relaxed spot for your next happy hour hang, look no further!

In terms of bites, guests can indulge in light snacks like hand-stretched pizza, charcuterie boards, and a refreshing risotto and lemon sorbet served in a frozen lemon.

Guests can sit at one of eight seats at the bar, seven high tops, seven low tables, a couch area, or choose from nine tables on their outdoor patio.

Oh, and every Thursday night, guests can look forward to enjoying live music by some of Vancouver’s up-and-coming artists.

Hours & info

Starting June 17th, Artigiano Roundhouse will transition to its evening service from 5 to 10 pm from Sunday to Thursday, and until 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

So there you have it, Vancouver! What time of day will you be stopping by?
