Aritzia just dropped a new line of clothing for the Lunar New Year

To be honest, when we think of the ‘Year of the Tiger’ our minds don’t exactly go to a cute and cuddly place. That was turned upside down though with the new line of Lunar New Year clothing coming from Aritzia! The Vancouver-based brand has teamed up with a Jakarta-based artist to make it happen. Let’s check it out.

Debbie Tea, known for her playful illustrations and art, is behind the graphics for this year’s collection. Also sharing the Tiger as her own Chinese zodiac sign, the artist included not only some downright adorable versions of a tiger but also some of her favourite foods growing up.

That includes noodles (for long life), dumplings (for wealth), and bok choy (quite literally, 100 years of wealth). There’s also a cute little mandarin graphic in there, which we have to admit might be our favourite on the food side. However, if we’re going to get something, it’s absolutely going to feature a tiger on it. Especially when they look as adorable as they do!

Which, by the way, we might have to do sooner rather than later. You can check out the full collection Aritzia has put out for the Lunar New Year on their website. Happy shopping, folks!
