Apparently, the Canadian-invented Hawaiian pizza is America’s favorite pizza of 2020

We can already feel the heat radiating from the comment section on this one, folks. We’ll be the first to admit that we’re not the best in social situations – but hell, if we know anything about keeping the peace at a party, reunion, or casual get-together, it’s this. Do not, under any circumstance, ask if “water is wet,” and never, ever talk about pineapple on pizza. This, however, isn’t an official gathering, so here’s your trigger warning.

According to the annual “Taste of 2020” report from the food delivery app, Grub Hubthe controversially dressed pie, was actually named America’s favourite pizza this year.

These results were determined after the company analyzed the 30 million orders that were placed on their platform between January and November. By comparing the number of times an item was ordered this year, to that of last year, the service was able to calculate its rise or fall in popularity.

To the dismay of may, Hawaiian Pizza, a Canadian invention, jumped by 689% in the last 9 months. Wowza. 

So there you have it, friends, the Taste of 2020 results. Maybe you don’t give AF, maybe you’ll use this as argument fuel, heck, maybe you’ll deny it until you’re blue in the face – what you do with this information is up to you. You’re all entitled to your opinions – just remember to be kind to one another. It’s just pizza, not politics.
