Did you miss the chucks during this year’s Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth? Well, don’t you fret – because good things come to those who wait, even if you only stood by for a couple of weeks. This July, before month’s end, those who didn’t get the chance to hit one of Alberta’s most beloved events are encouraged to check out the Strathmore Stampede, a long weekend shindig in celebration of athleticism, the wild west, and the summertime!

This year, between July 30th and August 1st, Cowfolk from all over will gather for a series of incredibly popular competitions as well as a live concert, cabaret, and a fireworks display.

Featuring incredibly talented rodeo performers, competitors, and even Gord Bamford, who will be the one to close out the event on Friday night, the Strathmore Stampede won’t be something that you’ll want to miss – assuming, of course, that you’re a fan of the old school sport and honky-tonk genre.

As we said, it will all kick off on the 30th with a rodeo, chuckwagon competition, and concert. Then on Saturday will proceed with an additional running of the bulls as well as a cabaret and concert featuring Renegade Station.

Finally, on Sunday they will crown the winner in each category – who will get bragging rights and can carry the title into 2022 when it all starts again.

If you’d like more information or would like to purchase tickets for the event you can check out their website here!

It’s going to be a crazy few days, Calgary! Check it out!
