A new art mural landed in Revolution Square this summer in Edmonton, and the inspiration behind it comes from an unexpected place. Alongside a whole host of other installations and pop-ups, the folks at VIGNETTES decided to go all out with this one.
That’s because this breezeway features not just a single wall of colour, but three! Visitors will be flanked on the left, right, and from above during their stroll through it. And, they’ll be treated to a vibrant geometric pattern the whole way through.

Guess the theme yet? Don’t worry if not- we didn’t the first time around either. Turns out, this new installation is inspired by none other than the original PAC-MAN video game. Ok, in hindsight, maybe we should have thought about it a bit more before giving up on guessing ourselves.
But, one thing we’re not going to give up on is heading over there to check it out before the summer ends! Maybe during the afternoon, so we can swing by a nearby coffee shop before or after to really make the most of it.
