Alberta’s Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel is world-renowned for its beauty and its incredible dining options, but what most don’t know, is that hidden behind a bookcase in their acclaimed Rundle Bar, is an entirely separate room where guests can go somewhere more quiet for a cocktail – or a ‘secret’ meeting.
Though the two have the same menu, the hidden Sidecar lounge provides a darker, more ‘intimate’ dining experience.

This room is typically used for medium-sized gatherings, conferences or parties – but on the odd occasion it hasn’t been booked out for the night, it’s actually open to anyone!
Here, they’ve got an incredibly impressive cocktail menu with everything from negronis and mai tais, to one-of-a-kind signature sips.
In the event that it is occupied for the night, however, the Rundle Room is an incredibly cool place to grab a drink regardless so don’t worry about someone else’s plans putting a wrench in yours.
Either way, you’re going to have a blast.
It’s definitely a must-see.
