There will be more flights to warm destinations from Toronto this year! Air Transat announced that it will be adding flights from Toronto to more than two dozen spots from the Caribbean to South America for its 2024-2025 winter season.

The airline states that at the peak of the season, around 100 non-stop flights per week will be offered from Toronto, Ottawa and London to the sunny spots, along with European cities.

“For the 2024-2025 winter season, we are favouring growth focused on our flagship destinations,” said Sebastian Ponce, Chief Revenue Officer of Transat. “Leveraging our partnership with Porter Airlines and our annual routes to Europe, we are able to take advantage of their expansion into the domestic market to reach a wider audience.”

From Toronto, the airline says it will be “increasing flight frequencies to key markets such as Cancun and Punta Cana, while adding capacity on high-potential routes such as San Jose.”

It will also maintains its routes to other popular destinations in the Caribbean and Mexico.

Toronto will have 14 departing flights per week to Cancun, as well as Punta Cana. There will be three flights a week to San Jose, Costa Rica.

Besides the warmer cities, there will be additional flights to London Gatwick from Toronto, offering a daily service to the UK.

Other routes you can fly to through Air Transat include Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Glasgow, and Manchester.
