Here’s where you can book a delightful afternoon tea experience in Calgary’s Kensington area

Known for its comfort food favourites with a lavish twist, Kensington’s Oxbow restaurant is offering a new experience where guests can enjoy fine food and even finer company.
The exciting Oxbow Afternoon Tea has been running every Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM.
Who hasn’t wanted to don their Sunday best and sip tea while nibbling on finger foods and engaging in delightful conversation? Whether you’re looking for a nice date, a girls’ afternoon, or some quality parent/child time, high tea is an experience you and your loved ones will always remember.
A Mouth-Watering Menu

The chefs at Oxbow have crafted a delightful menu of afternoon tea classics combined with Oxbow originals, featuring items that rotate weekly.
Guests can choose between sweet and savoury scones (we’re crossing our fingers for blueberry), feast upon high-tea classics like devilled eggs made with chives and smoked salmon, try French onion tarts topped with caramelized onion ragout and gruyère fondue, or satisfy their sweet tooths with desserts such as the seasonally inspired profiteroles (AKA, cream puffs). Don’t forget a delightfully citrusy key lime tart.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a meal at Oxbow without the Oxbow cheese bun, an infamous delicacy filled with Boursin cheese, Mimolette, chilli honey, and garlic butter. There will also be a rotating selection of sandwiches sure to be just as mouth-watering. You can even kick things up a notch by ordering a charcuterie board on the side. What’s that sound…? Probably your stomach growling.
How to Book

Indoor bookings are available, but we recommend making the most of Calgary’s remaining good weather and enjoying your afternoon tea on the patio. Enjoy the scenic surroundings of Kensington while getting some Vitamin D. It’s even dog-friendly!
While walk-ins are welcome, the best way to guarantee your afternoon tea experience is by booking a reservation on OpenTable. Pinkies up!
