Over the past few years, we’ve seen an explosion in the bubble tea scene here in Calgary. And now, a unique take on it is getting ready to open! Chewgurt Yummy has already seen a great start in Metro Vancouver, and they want to set up shop out here. Here’s a little info on it.
Chewgurt Yummy actually started out as a humble stall at the super-popular Richmond Night Market a few years back. But, they soon saw a huge demand for it, and so they opened their first location only a few weeks later. Since then, they’ve opened a total of 3 different spots around Metro Vancouver. And, anyone who knows Vancouver knows they don’t mess around when it comes to bubble tea.

Or in this case, a unique variation on bubble tea. While you can still get taro, yam and other sweet treats added to it, the base itself is different. Rather than the classic milk base, Chewgurt Yummy has opted for a yogurt drink. Think like a whole new level of Yop! (or Yakult, for the Soju lovers out there).
The current timeline is open before the end of summer. But, we’ll keep you posted when an official day is announced!
